Another (teen) shit drama with magical elements from Netflix. The episodes look sooooooo long, everything that happens is slow... watch the first episode, the idea is cool and that's all you need: know the idea, because the execution - in this case - doesn't matter. I would love to see this in HBO, it could be an amazing show.

One hell of a superb fantasy adventure ride where i finished the whole season in a single sitting (last something like this happened was with Stranger Things). Enjoyed Narnia? You will love this! Wished for a not so kids friendly Disney show? This is for you!

Show was funny, interesting, dark and mysterious. Even the VFX was awesome!

The ending was well made, with some twists abit predictable but still a very good ending towards the end. Now I can't wait for Season 2.

Show deserved a 10/10, but some parts were abit draggy and unnecessary. Overall the show was for me a 9/10

Everyone keeps making stupid mistakes. Mistakes that make no sense to even be made. Aside from that it's alright. Hopefully the second season will be written better. I would give it a 7/10, but honestly those mistakes feel like lazy writing so I'm gonna be lazy too.

Quite enjoyable.

Writing is decent for the most part (some unrealistic plot-devices like police immediately closing a door upon arrival on the crime scene without taking pictures or anything), actors are convincing.

Story is actually quite interesting.

The only thing which really doesn't make sense is [spoiler] that the Demon can take the keys from anyone but the Lockes. What makes them special? Did I miss the explanation for that one? [/spoiler]

Too bad there’s so much stupidity and useless teen drama as the premise of the story seems interesting. It’s like they had material for 4 episodes but had to push 10 and blurted out 6 hours of annoying filler content. The only character that is decent seems to be Bode. Tyler and Kinsey as written really bad and super annoying and they are stupid as a rock.
This show is the pinnacle of stupidity and you will see this with each passing episode.

I loved the comics, this adaptation is a real let down, I've waited years for this to happen, so it feels extra painful that this is the best they could do...

I Love it! Something new, always making me want more. Hope you all enjoy as I did.

After watching the first season I no longer have interest in what's coming next.

All I could muster is nearly 6 episodes couldn't finish the sixth one because of how horrible the show is. Okay so going into spoilers

[spoiler]The dumbass daughter was so selfish she nearly killed her friends over a fucking door. Now yeah it's probably more important than the movie because of magic. But you went there to help them with a movie. The way she acted was the final straw in the coffin for me.[/spoiler]

And the villain is straight up Once Upon A Time or CW level shit tier. If you were to get a clip of her and one of the Locke kids interactions. It could literally be something from Once Upon A Time and I would believe it. She is such a generic and cliche villain and might I add the actress is a terrible actor too. The scene where she meets the kid in the graveyard is the scene that sold it for me on bad acting. Maybe it gets better who knows, but I could not watch anymore of this dumb show.

So this is like Stranger Things, except all the main characters are children, they are fighting a powerful alien entity and the adults are ignoring everything that happens most of the ti... Wait...

If you have never read the comics this show is decently entertaining with a very interesting world and magic system. But it has some of the dumbest character decisions and writing you have ever seen on TV. And the acting for the most part is just average (and the Mom IMO was even pretty bad).

If however you have read the comics and like me are a fan of them this show is a complete trainwreck. It just feels like a extremly dumbed down (was that last scene really necessary?), PG-13 CW-like show with insanely stupid characters (seriously what the fuck were some of those decisions?). I mean this is supposed to be a horror show but nothing in it says that. Not creepy atmosphere, nothing.

If you're expecting a good horror show based on the comics you are going to be immensely disappointed because this is just a basic teen drama and not even a good one at that.
