Another (teen) shit drama with magical elements from Netflix. The episodes look sooooooo long, everything that happens is slow... watch the first episode, the idea is cool and that's all you need: know the idea, because the execution - in this case - doesn't matter. I would love to see this in HBO, it could be an amazing show.

One hell of a superb fantasy adventure ride where i finished the whole season in a single sitting (last something like this happened was with Stranger Things). Enjoyed Narnia? You will love this! Wished for a not so kids friendly Disney show? This is for you! Show was funny, interesting, dark and mysterious. Even the VFX was awesome! The ending was well made, with some twists abit predictable but still a very good ending towards the end. Now I can't wait for Season 2. Show deserved a 10/10, but some parts were abit draggy and unnecessary. Overall the show was for me a 9/10

Everyone keeps making stupid mistakes. Mistakes that make no sense to even be made. Aside from that it's alright. Hopefully the second season will be written better. I would give it a 7/10, but honestly those mistakes feel like lazy writing so I'm gonna be lazy too.

Three episodes in and I'm already seriously annoyed by the characters' irrational choices and unrealistic behavior. Keeping secrets or lying for no good reason, promising one thing and doing another, etc. And they keep doing it over and over. And I'm not even mentioning their almost casu More

Season one, despite the subpar acting and oftentimes horrendous writing, is worth a watch for the unique premise and interesting ideas presented. Just beware that you might find yourself shouting at your TV screen as you watch a character make a really dumb decision for the fifth time in one episode More

Locke and Key is a bumpy road of merging directions and fails to ever have a moderately consistent tone. Some great episodes mixed in with utter rubbish; lots of filler episodes that read like a cringe-fest teen drama. (aka a typical netflix series).
