The final shot of the reunited family with the assembled coffee table is dark comedy gold. Even the coffee table is included in the afterlife.

I don't think I've ever experienced such anxiety watching a movie, jeez!!! 91 minutes of pure harrowing experience. It's a type of movie to watch once in a lifetime. Very good script idea, by the way. Could it be better executed? Absolutely! but it did well what it was intended to do. Despite all the shock caused, it was a reflective and draining experience about human behavior in a plausible situation that could happen to anyone. It's also intentionally funny in a strange way. I loved it. [spoiler] **The Coffee Table** is a mix of THAT one thing in Hereditary + The Office episode which Michael Scott promised to give money to the children's tuition [/spoiler]

For the first-time watcher, be advised that this is a Spanish movie with English subtitles (apparently) hardcoded. So you can watch it (assuming you want to) but just go in knowing that you can't change the language from its native Spanish. That being said, the first thing that caught my attention - More
