Final Rating: 8/10 This show is further proof that Trakt has an extremist problem. This is currently sitting at a 6.2/10 on Trakt while it's a 7.5/10 or higher on every other review platform with more users (TMDB, RT etc). Maybe one day, certain Trakt users (you know who you are) will learn that very few shows actually deserve a 1/10 rating.

Regarding the animation quality drop, I was expecting much worse based on all the noise I've heard online and in the comments here. It's not as bad as the people screeching would have one believe. It is noticeable, but still fairly consistent with episode 1. They still put effort into the "good parts", but the filler scenes (walking and talking etc) aren't as smooth or detailed. I almost didn't give this a chance due to the "bait and switch" warnings, but I'm glad I did. It's a unique and disturbing work of art. I appreciate when anything in the horror genre manages to hit the mark with exactly zero jump scares.
