The manga is probably good but this show is just incoherent. The show just moves from one shocking scene to the next with no build up.

After being pretty disappointed with episodes 2 & 3, I was surprised to watch a decent finale. Definitely not on par with episode 1 but better than 2 or 3. This show was a rollercoaster of emotions. Mostly because of the animation and pacing. Season 1 was so promising but a shame that didn’t hold. In my opinion, this show’s defining aspect is the absurd humor. I haven’t read the manga so I don’t know if it’s intended but I chuckled hard many times. The row house shitting out clumps of people was definitely my favorite scenes. Straight up Taco Bell shits. I’m rating this a 7 mostly for the comical enjoyment I got out of it. This is one of those absurdist shows I like purely because it’s weird, frightening, and funny. I guess I’m a simple creature.
