There are excellent moments in this series, like the first episode or the one dedicated to the filming of a Hollywood movie, that further reveal the weaknesses of a spy story that doesn't specifically fall into any genre. A strange mix that works well as a representation of the springs of memory and the confrontation between truths and lies depending on the point of view (in fact, it justifies particularly well why Robert Downey Jr. plays several characters). But it always gives the feeling that there are many things it wants to tell, without being clear how to tell them.

First couple of episodes were great had some direction of going, then went somewhere else, then Hollywood then what is happening ? It had no consistency for the story. The production was good but it had no value or purpose or entertaining. The show didn't know what we should care about. Really bad execution. Very confusing and incoherent most parts. Definitely no need for second season.

I got that they all represent the one same thing, American stereotype, but are we really convinced that those characters should have been played by a single actor? I guess they thought that it is justified by the last scene in the hut [spoiler] where the last character of RDJ abused the mother and gave the snack to little captain [/spoiler], however I still do not believe that this would be the case if it weren't the producer of the whole series and also it weren't named Robert Downey. It seems irrevelant and confusing at many times. This series does not need to be remembered like "ohh the one where RDJ plays six or seven characters", it is already great itself.
