Monologue is ok and side stuff is similar to what he did with his old show which was great, solid interviews which are normally lacking in other late night shows like The Tonight Show where they just pander to the guest and don't add anything to the conversation other than prescript-ed answers. All in all good show and here's hoping Colbert can keep this going for many years.

Not only does this provide the most laughs out of any other show for my wife and I, but it covers current events and politics so succinctly that its the only TV news we watch (all else is read on Apple News). It's our favorite show, and one we look forward to watching together even more than 24: Legacy, Sense8, Seinfeld, or Designated Survivor! It's even better than SNL's Trump/Political Skits. It's easiest just to catch it on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMtFAi84ehTSYSE9XoHefig) on weekdays around 8:30pm PST (or more often, anytime the next day), which makes it easy to skip over most of the interviews and musical performances and just get the comedic news, animations, and political satire. Colbert is the only positive thing to come out of having Trump for president and the only thing that makes it just this side of bearable.

Unimpressed, worst monologue, doesn't have a funny bone in his entire life. It is so repetitive it's sickening. Even Johnny Carson dead could make better jokes.

Stephen Colbert was once a funny man. Now he's an arrogant joke, not a funny one either.

That said, he is a brilliant businessperson. His unnecessarily childish but necessarily provocative rants against DT led to him edging out Fallon on ratings. Just as DT does not hate the press, he loves it an More
