An amazingly faithful reproduction of a truly remarkable piece of literature. Gérard Depardieu is superb as Le Compte de Monte Cristo with a memorable performance by Sergio Rubini as the faithful Bertuccio. A wonderful story of betrayal, intrigue and revenge. A must see series!
