I just watched the 1st episode. They didn't skimp on the super fight choreography. I love the concept of how this is a prequel to the rise of Winston Scott, who eventually became the manager of The Continental. The episodes are an hour and a half long. I can't wait for the next two to drop.

Can’t believe how bad this was. Some decent action but story and writing are both terrible. The tone is way off compared to JW movies. Hate the music.

Sets, cinematography, soundtrack all top notch. Acting and actors are pretty good. Dialog is basic - shame they did'nt try to make it interesting. Action is super unrealistic "a la" John Wick but that's the point and the choreography and stunts are pretty good. Mel's a nice touch too... LOVE the NYC in the 70s vibe. It's all overdone and exaggerated but a lot of fun to watch....

The Continental, for me, at least, is too much The Sopranos and too little, John Wick.

Wasn't quite sure about this, as I had read the reviews here, but, the series had me binge watching the three ninety minute episodes in one sitting. True, its not John Wick, but then again, the focus here "isn't" John Wick, and its before "his" time in this "World". The Franchise basically explained More
