Sam Swift, the former star of a hit cop series whose epic breakdown is broadcast to the public and sends her to rehab. Desperate to restart her career, she talks her way into shadowing lone-wolf private investigator Eddie Valetik as research for a potential comeback role. Though Eddie resents the babysitting gig, high-spirited Sam uses the skills she learned as an actor playing a cop and proves herself to be surprisingly valuable.

I am really enjoying this show I was a fan of Rachel Bilson in Hart of Dixie and Eddie Cibrian was great in Rosewood. This show reminds me a lot of the chemistry in Rosewood, light fun procedural (well investigative) show with poignant moments. I will definitely be keeping up with this one I hope it lasts more than a season so many new good shows get canned these days. :(

I loved this show. It wasn't necessarily a great show, but it was a fun guilty pleasure. The chemistry was great. I wanted a few more seasons. I liked Rachel in Hart of Dixie too! I am currently re-watching Hart of Dixie and will have to re-watch this now, too.

With a show that didn't make it past the 1st season, finding it after the fact, usually, your first thought is if it's still worth your time. In this case, I say it is. No, it's not a great show, with fantastic writing or action sequences, but the comedy is what makes the show worth watching. Yes, it's similar to Castle, recent seasons of The Rookie, or even Bones, but I think you'll enjoy the comedy enough to make the stories worth your time. While I wouldn't have minded more episodes, I wasn't ready to scream about a major cliffhanger ending, either. BTW, when you finish this, go watch the (even better) single season of Whiskey Cavalier for some of the same reasons.

This little show turned out to be not as bad as I thought. In fact it grew on me.
The script is far from great but the actors are kinda sweet. Light and fun enough to switch your brain off without having to cringe from bad acting.
