McManus' change of behaviour during season 1 doesnt make any sense. Oh, look! McManus stopped shaving! That's the show's way of telling us that he lost control over his life (why exactly again?) because everyone knows: if you dont shave, you're done. And Beecher, too. Man, these writers sure know their stuff.
