Black Summoner

Same old generic "overpowered character in isekai world" theme. Definitely entertaining but nothing extraordinary.

This is a great take on the standard isakai formula. MC trades his memories for more skill points, so his previous life has no real impact on his new life. He rizzes up the goddess of reincarnation, and convinces her to be his summon in the new world. Thankfully, even without his memories, he maintains that swagger in his new life, and ends up being one of the best MC's in the genre. I probably would have had this at a 9 if they didn't use a video game engine for some of the major fight scenes and sequences, some of it was really rough. That's honestly the biggest drawback of this show. The finale ended with so many things up in the air, unfortunately. Rumor is that season 2 is already deep in production, and will drop in late 2025. It better, I need more of the battle junkie and his squad.
