The concept of using poker as a basis for supernatural powers is an interesting and unique idea. However, the execution falls short of expectations. The plot is predictable and riddled with inconsistencies, which can be frustrating for viewers who want to become invested in the story. The characters, too, can be lacking in depth and development. While Finn's sniping abilities are impressive, it's difficult to suspend disbelief when he suddenly can't hit a target at point-blank range.
