So I enjoyed this movie, but I have read the books, and do not consider it a real adaptation. Let's just say that Ursula K. Le Guin described all of the characters as dark skinned, which could be from Tan to Black, in fact I am pretty sure there was one character she described to be as black as black can be... The only reason I am bringing this up, but the entire movie is white EXCEPT Danny Glover, which, iirc and it has been many years since I read the book, his character was the one described as very dark skinned. Anyway, it is fun, and I enjoy the loose "adaptation" of a fantastic book (I kinda like Eragon and Endor too, sue me ;) ), as I let the book stay behind, and just enjoy it for the reference to the storyline at least.
