If you're a true fan of the art of professional wrestling, you owe it to yourself to watch this series. Probably one of the most fascinating, no-holds-barred, insightful looks at the stuff that actually goes on "Beyond the Mat" (another great watch, btw). Every episode was very telling, and many had heartwarming stories that actually gave you a look inside the personal lives - and personal demons - that many of these incredible athletes battled. I've followed the world of professional wrestling since the late 1960's, I suppose, waiting on 10PM every Saturday night for that awesome theme music announcing the start of World Class Championship Wrestling coming from the Sportatorium in downtown Dallas, TX. I feel I've earned the right to consider myself a genuine fan/follower of pro wrestling, and I feel I'm qualified to give this a high score. I would even recommend this to those who roll their eyes and laugh at the "sport" of professional wrestling...even daring to call it "fake". (Hint: It's scripted, but that makes it nowhere close to being "fake".) This will give even those diehard naysayers something to look at and (hopefully) something to appreciate in what these athletes put themselves through, night after night for a mere fraction of what some jughead wearing striped pajamas and standing in a field does. Watch this: you won't be sorry.
