For those wondering, this is _basically_ Entourage that is based around sports. If you like that type of show, or if you like the idea of a behind the scenes of football, or if you like The Rock, this is likely a show you will enjoy. PERSONALLY, I find the style of show quite enjoyable, I love movies and shows that The Rock is in, I find the cast quite solid, and I would say I am quite the fanatic for football, so this show suits me. I enjoyed it more than Entourage, **BUT** that does not mean it was perfect. The first two seasons I thought were great and fresh and a show I couldn't wait for the next season. But to me it hit a spot of "sameness" starting in Season 3 (similar to what I believe happened with Entourage) where I am enjoying what I am watching, yet I understand that it's not really progressing or keeping me hooked with new plot points like many great shows. In other words, it is quite niche where some people might love it throughout, some might entirely hate it, and others might go from loving to being bored. Not that any of those are particularly bad, and can likely be said about almost any show, but it definitely reigns true about Ballers. For how short of a watch this is for being five seasons, I would highly recommend giving it a shot if you like anything I mentioned in the first few sentences, but if you don't like the over the top debauchery and egomaniacal sport stars it will likely be skippable.
