You're in luck; I don't need to be asked twice to talk about Agatha)<br /> <br /> Well, let's see. **WandaVision** was letdown by battle in the sky, and that would be enough to run circles around it. But after rewatching it ~~(and btw, Agatha was flirting a lot with Wanda, I'm surprised how much groundwork happened here)~~. I would say that every single scene outside of the main cast (and town's people) was a major step-down. Especially if you compare it to scenes where MCU allowed actors... to act. Wanda and Vision verbal fight comes to mind. The main cast was impeccable.<br /> <br /> Overall, WandaVision didn't have a single impactful episode as Agatha did with episode 7.<br /> And a strong finish without a weird attempt to brush off what horrible thing protagonist did (including the future hero this time around).<br /> I loved the characters, and the whole show, story, and resolution were centered only around them. Setting up future stuff was done more naturally. _I actually wanna see a search for Tommy and the dynamic duo... sorry, coven in action._ Hell, maybe I will even give Vision's show a watch just on good faith that Agatha brought back.<br /> <br /> Personally, for the first time after watching MCU films/shows I started to read "ahead" with Young Avengers. [spoiler]Brother is long dead; Magneto doesn't exist. How are they planning to reintroduce Wanda when Billy has very little interest in finding her, I wonder?[/spoiler]<br /> <br /> **And still, WandaVision was way better executed than Loki (season 1)**. I mean story-wise. In a sense, setup promised a grandiose story that turned out to be very contained, small, and single-character focused. Which should have been great. <br /> But **the story of self-acceptance and literal self-love turned out to be very shallow and by the numbers** (although with a better final bow than WandaVision). So much so that when living in a history book kept me away from season 2 premier - I never came back to it. And judging by the opinions of people with similar tastes, season 1 was better anyway.<br /> <br /> **TL;DR** For fairness sake, let's say that Agatha is the best of what MCU has to offer... out of the things I saw. Otherwise, maybe Secret Invasion or Echo would have been the best it has to offer. I guess we will never know ;)<br /> <br /> p.s. I always wondered what pulls people like you into the story of... well, a fairytale where rebels successfully fight back against an evil empire?
