> Outcasts aren't lowly The chemistry between Yifei and Xiao is so lit ; its one of the best with Pa'ner being flirtiest and Qianfan being the most open & communicating pair until it was ruined between [spoiler] 28-35 episodes [/spoiler] ironically the most painful characters to watch were initially ... YinZhang the Bratty-Princess and Bratty-halfwit Chi Pan who undergo tremendous character growth during this period . Du Changfeng & Gao Hui who were initially depicted evil were actually genuinely deceived and turn out to be good characters. I think the writers are to blame for low popularity of the show because of how they turned some open characters 180* suddenly which made the show a bit boring in the middle and the end where [spoiler] the empress flipped on the leads despite them protecting her dignity [/spoiler]... otherwise this was a good romance show.
