Davide Morando

David Morando is a director, editor, and screenwriter. After studying Filmmaking at the London Film Academy, he began working as a creative producer for some of the most prominent television networks, including Paramount Network, MTV, and Sky. In 2017, he was nominated for the PromaxBDA Global Excellence Awards in Los Angeles. In 2019 he is part of FilmLab OffiCine, a project by IED Milan, editing "Fulmini e Saette" (eng. title “Thunderbolts and Lightning Strikes"), a short film with Carolina Crescentini and Mario Sgueglia presented at FuoriCinema (Milan) and at Cinema Tavolara Festival. In 2020, he directed the comedy "Gli Atomici Fotonici", starring Giovanni Storti, produced by MINI Italy, and selected in over 50 international festivals. In 2022, his short film "La Vera Storia della partita di nascondino più grande del mondo", written and directed with Paolo Bonfadini and Irene Cotroneo, was nominated for the Italian Golden Globes. Additionally, his TV series project "Gotland", created and written with Paolo Bonfadini, won two editions of the BlindNetpitch organized by the Writers Guild Italy. Today, he works as an editor for Endemol Shine Italy and Amazon Prime Video Italy, contributing to the creation of some of the most popular programs on the platforms. He is also a tutor of filmmaking at FilmLab, a specialized course organized by IED and Officine Fare Cinema, under the artistic guidance of Silvio Soldini.
