Andy Schiaffino

Also known as body / negative, Andy Schiaffino is a songwriter and composer based in Los Angeles, California. Schiaffino's oeuvre has appeared in HBO's Search Party, NBC's Good Girls, and VICE's Essentials documentary series. The artist has also dabbled in film scoring, creating an original score for the 2021 queer short film "Noxious".
 After playing their first live show opening for shoegaze artist and longtime mentor Tamaryn in January of 2019, they’d go on to release their debut EP "Epoche" via Dune Altar Records in 2019, full-length LP "Fragments" on Track Number Records in 2020, as well as an accompanying remix EP, "Fragments Remixed" in 2021. 
 body / negative is quite reclusive, oft opting out of live performances, but despite that, the artist has played a handful of sold-out shows in Los Angeles; most notably with electronic artist Kelly Lee Owens, post-punk group Choir Boy, and the iconic Warp Records group, Seefeel.
