One day, Jinlian met Zhao Tianyou, a businessman, by the river. They had mutual feelings. But because Jinlian's stepmother was greedy, Jinlian was sold to a brothel. After Jin Lian went to the brothel, she was forced to become a prostitute by the brothel owner, aunt Cui. It's hard for Tianyou to find out the whereabouts of Jinlian. When Tianyou finds Jinlian, he just rescues the short-sighted Jinlian and decides to escape with her. Unexpectedly, their whereabouts are found, so Tianyou is killed and Jinlian is also taken away. After that, in order to protect Jinlian, Tianyou turned into a fierce ghost, scaring away the people who wanted to fight Jinlian, causing the brothel business to plummet. Aunt Cui asked a Taoist to deal with Tianyou, and finally Tianyou and Jinlian
