Audrey manages to break through to Jordan in only a few days after qualified doctors have been trying for years. The cops are predictably stereotypical chauvinists who don't respect a women coming in to their realm. When The Bough Breaks definitely takes cues from The Silence Of The Lambs. Audrey is a blatent copy of Clarice Starling were her weakness is confined spaces. The confrontation at Dr Eben's house is reminiscent of the scene in Bill's house.
