The first movie since Max Payne (coincidentally, also a Mark Wahlberg movie) where I wanted to run out every single minute of the 149 overblown minutes it played. It was incongruent, had forced comedy, and the stereotypes for the transformers are grating to say the least. As a Fab of the cartoons, I can't believe this soulless slosh found the light of day.

To be honest, there are times you won't have a clue what's going on (not in a good way) and the plot holes will hit you hard, and it will feel a whole lot longer than 2 hours. On the other hand, it all looks great. Best way to enjoy it is by switching off your brain n let the 10 year old in you have his fun.

Why do I keep making the same mistake? This is like the 5th in a row. I promise this was my last Transformers movie. Michael Bay is the sole reason people pirate movies. For the ability to skip forward or just dump the whole thing and also actually spend money on movies that are worth the time.

Like the last four Transformers movies, The Last Knight is over-long and overstuffed. While screenwriter Akiva Goldsman (Batman & Robin, Lost in Space, The DaVinci Code) who came up with the story added some DaVinci Code like subplots to the film. The _Transformers_ franchise has never been good. Some say that the series is "Dumb fun with good action and cool explosions. To me, that could maybe be used to describe only the third movie. Not surprisingly I expected this, the fifth installment, of the Transformers franchise to be pretty much crap. Especially after the abysmal fourth installment. To my great surprise I found it to be much less crappy than I expected.
