I love a good slow-burn horror/thriller/drama, but this one was almost too slow. While I appreciated the aesthetics and the overall atmosphere, I wasn’t sure what this will be. And then it happened—it was horrifying. Not what I expected, but definitely something that hits hard. It felt disturbingly real, which makes sense given the cast. I wouldn’t necessarily watch it again, but I had a fine time with it.

Needed a bit more fire and brimstone to really work, and a closer examination of the faith preaching highlighted in the film. Not a bad movie though, but it could have been better.

Moved too slow, wasn't terrible and the acting was fine but didn't really lead much of anywhere and was pretty disappointing in the end. In some movies people describe a traumatic event in their past in a 2-3 minute scene, and this felt like the origin story for said traumatic event. Not unwatchable, just really dull.

I was honestly pretty disappointed with _Them That Follow_. I saw the trailer and thought it looked fantastic, I looked up the cast and that had me well and truly on board. But the actual movie? Not so much on board as just regular bored.
