I like the other title, "The Ugly Ones" - not that anyone is ugly, but they do behave badly. The movie stars Richard Wyler as a 'bounty killer" and Thomas Milian as Jose, a victim/bandit. Jose is sliding down a slippery slope. When the movie starts out, he is a prisoner transport. It reminded me of The Hateful Eight, in that it is a tense drama, reflecting on some rough characters. Later in the film he turns on all his friends and supporters, and in the end, well, it just goes badly for him, as shown on the movie poster, where he is eating dirt. The movie was released in 1966, which makes it Milian's first Italian Western. It was not released in the US until late 1968, which was after Milian's other Spaghetti Westerns.
