A very heart warming true story. As a Lancashire lad and a keen golfer I really enjoyed this fun movie Maurice Flitcroft was a British amateur golfer known for his unconventional and humorous approach to the sport. He gained fame in the 1970s when he famously entered the Open Championship, despite having little experience in golf. Flitcroft's first attempt at the tournament in 1976 resulted in one of the worst rounds in the history of the event, scoring a 121, but his persistence and comedic flair endeared him to many. His story is often celebrated as an example of determination and the idea that anyone can pursue their dreams, regardless of their skill level. Flitcroft later became a symbol of the amateur spirit in golf, and his life has inspired books and films that highlight his unique journey in the sport. :thumbsup_tone1:
