The director and the producer should be arrested. In order to shoot the film, they destroyed part of the monument that is Unesco's patrimony.

They broke ancient stones, cut trees without permission to make fires with twenty meters ...

It was a total disrespect, destroy world heritage just for the purpose of making money ....

I recommend everyone, do a search on Google or translate Portuguese news on the subject.

@_diogogomes Ukbar Filmes, the Portuguese production company used at the location shooting, acknowledged that there was some damage, which was catalogued by the convent officials who monitored the filming.

The damage included six modern roof tiles and four small chips in masonry, which will be restored, as stated by Ukbar Filmes to the Associated Press. However, the trees were planted during the making of another film and officials consented to their removal at the end of the shoot.

@zythean This not give the right to broke ancient stones and replace for new ones without the history and the memories of the people that interacted with the stones through the centuries.

Sorry but the replacement doesn't make any sense to me.

@353sqmijy From wiki: On 4 July 2017, Portuguese authorities ruled that Gilliam's crew was only responsible for "insignificant damage", adding that the accusations "lacked rigor and revealed a lack of scientific knowledge".
