The Invisible Man Returns

Not nearly as good as the original but it still loads of fun. _The Invisible Man Returns_ starts with Geoffrey Radcliff, a man who's framed for the murder of his brother. He's scheduled to hang but after a visit from his friend Dr. Frank Griffin, he escapes to search for the man who framed him and try to prove his innocence before he goes mad. The police inspector quickly realizes that Griffin is the brother of the original Invisible Man and has given Geoffrey the serum to aid his escape. It's loosely connected to the original. Although I really like the direction, I really wish this film could’ve gone crazier. It's not bad, it's just less impressive. The story is also a little plodding at times. That said, it has similar feel to the original. It's thrilling and fun as hell, aided by even better special effects. The scene of an invisible guinea pig becoming visible is very impressive. About the invisible man, it's no Claude Rains but I think Vincent Price give a pretty fun performance considering it's his first horror role.
