This movie did not catch my attention when I was a kid, not only in that time, but until nowadays. My girlfriend was excited to watch it again and so we were there, watching it. Right from the start I was captured and throughout the whole movie I did not get disappointed.

This film is simply beautiful, every frame is a painting. It’s just astonishing, all the colors and characters looks are great.

Now, about the characters, they’re surprisingly strong and entertaining. Quasimodo has a unique appearance and mannerisms. His kindness and innocence nice to observe. His joy at taking care of the cathedral is really well demonstrated as well.
Esmeralda is beautiful, she differs from the same standard of beauty we are used to see, at least in the time the film was released. She's a strong character and gets her fun from what she does and do the best to be happy at the circumstances she lives — I wonder why Esmeralda is not considered a Disney princess, she deserves it. Ah, and her little goat is so cute.
Frollo is probably the most evil character I have ever seen in a Disney movie, he is truly bad.
The gargoyles are really funny. I love the concept of having talking-gargoyles in this amazing gothic cathedral. It's cool that their names are a reference to the original creator of the story, Victor Hugo.

Tremendous soundtrack, so powerful. It is majestic, macabre and hypnotising. Fits just perfectly with Notre Dame cathedral and the gothic atmosphere of the film. I'm not much into musicals, so I liked the instrumental songs the most.

I also enjoyed the plot, it is original and has a different approach. It is dark, very mature and feels fresh. I certainly wasn't expecting that.
