EVERETT AND JULIE HAD MY BLOOD BOILING!!!! He was flirting with his girlfriend’s sister from the SECOND he met her, and she was fully entertaining it even though the whole reason she was even supposed to be there was to SUPPORT her sister who was deeply struggling! God, these people were the absolute worst!! My hatred of them really ruined my vibes during this movie much more than I would have liked…
It wasn’t just them, though; that whole entire family was so mean and rude and judgemental for no reason. Meredith deserves a million times better than every single one of them, and that’s a straight-up FACT! I really just wanted to give her a big hug, cus she truly deserved to get some love and respect.
Other than that, however, I did like the concept of this movie and it was a fun watch. The awkwardness was high, but not in a bad way. Somehow the second-hand embarrassment, and even the hatred towards some of the characters, was… entertaining?
