Totally agree with @kayak.

Affable French comedies are a guilty pleasure and this hit the spot.

My only real gripe would be surrounding the birth of the daughter. There is no way he wouldn't have had a call at least from her parents to say it was happening and the duration of the pre-waters, "clinic", birth was entirely unrealistic to the point it bounced me out of the reality of the film. A minor gripe and a forgivable crux of a minor plot point in context.

The highlight was the pair as faux-Japanese at the molecular restaurant. I nearly choked on my laughter seeing "Leon" in that get up.

I am a huge fan of Jean Reno and enjoyed his work here. Michal Youn was extremely well cast though I kept feeling the films make up artist was hitting him too much in the face with the powder.

I would recommend it as a light entre to Chef (http://trakt.tv/movie/chef-2014) with a desert of my favourite Pixar film, Ratatouille (http://trakt.tv/movie/ratatouille-2007).

Once again, I agree with @kayak and @MajorMercyFlush

This is a beautiful film and I fell in love with Reno all over again. Particularly in the Japanese restaurant.

I watched a marathon of Chef and Le Chef and found it was a delightful 2 course meal of culinary porn.
