ai yi yi... Why do I keep watching this tripe? I guess "back in the day" (that would be the late 1970's - 1980's) movies like this were all the rage but it's hard for me to comprehend this pablum being considered "good" even back then. The acting was so incredibly bad, the dialogue, the script, the entire storyline...I kept wondering whether this was supposed to be a real "horror movie" or was it pure spoof? Sadly, back in the day (1981), this was (I assume?) considered a genuine "horror movie"; today it comes across as a cheap version of a spoof of the plethora of teen camp slasher films back then. Leah Ayres, as "Michelle", is as awful and overbearing as she was in her _Bloodsport_ role opposite Jean Claude van Damme. Apart from her, there's not a single character that you can even buy into...and sadly, you could only get attached to her character in the hopes that she would be the recipient of the most violent, gruesome death of all. Not even the "bully" (Larry Joshua as "Glazer") could pull off his role... Oh my gosh, I could keep going on what a steaming pile of tripe this was but why bother? Just... I don't even know why this was listed on the "Video Nasties" list unless it was the few shots of boobies... (and trust me, that's all they were: tiny boobs not even worth seeing) The "kills" were ridiculous...some burned-up dude is going to take out an entire raft of somewhere around 10 teenagers, using only a pair of garden shears, while they all scream and cringe in horror and never even try to fight back OR escape.... SMH. Just do yourself a favor and give this one the ol' skiperoo... You'll thank me. This was truly awful.
