This was one of the most boring movies I've ever seen and the little plot it has wasn't even that original looking at the TV show Californication. Actually, watching people react to the boring nature of this movie in the cinema by leaving the room or falling asleep was way more fun than the movie itself and the only thing about it that was even remotely interesting.

Another wonderful Korine film. Most similar in style to Spring Breakers, but a much more relaxed Jimmy Buffet flavored affair. Get stoned, go see.

Not as good as Spring Breakers for me but still an amazing film nonetheless. I loved Matthew McConaughey's performance and this is probably my second favorite Harmony Korine film. Loved it. It'll get pushed under the rug of course but McConaughey deserves an Oscar nomination for sure.

The Beach Bum is a spiritual sequel to The Big Lebowski, and while it's so light it's practically gaseous, at least it's not mean-spirited and immoral like The Jesus Rolls. The movie works, insofar as it does, thanks to Matthew McConaughey; his character is best described as a Southern Dude, and McC More
