[Mecal] A representation of the strict standards that govern the Limburg Butlers Academy, which trains service personnel for high-ranking establishments. There is a good job of directing, which alternates travellings and fixed shots to show the choreographic perfection required of the students. But there is also a sense of a certain elite anachronism that has to do with "representation": "Everything in the world is interesting" is the best diplomatic reply in a conversation with the boss. "We are not friends of the bosses, so our answers must be diplomatic, we don't have to tell the truth". A double session could be made between this short film and the documentary "The Apprentice" (Davide Maldi, 2019), which also showed a school of elite waiters. The musical work of the young Spanish composer Ezequiel Navarrete is very interesting, with an air of classicism that fits perfectly with the images.
