In the 1950s, Tab Hunter is number one at the box office and number one on the music charts. He is Hollywood’s most sought-after star and America’s boy next door. Natalie Wood, Debbie Reynolds and Sophia Loren are just a few of the actresses he is romantically linked to. Nothing, it seems, can damage Tab Hunter’s career. Really interesting and fascinating documentary. Enjoyed it a lot. One of the very few where I would LOVE to hear more about those Hollywood days. I have a feeling there's way more stories/rendezvous Tab didn't share (understandably so). I'm a huge movie geek, especially when it comes to the Golden Era, so this really was quite the story. In a lot of cases where you hear tragic stories with LGBT people, it's refreshing to see a story with a happy ending.

Pride Month 1 film a day challenge: #9 Woweee Tab Hunter was GORGEOUS. I'd never heard of him but i wish he had been a star in the present he'd STILL be every girl's dream man but he could be out and proud at the same time and no one would care. 7/10

Interesting interview and discussion on the career of Tab Hunter, a closeted gay actor who struggled in 50's Hollywood. Even now in 2016 there are many actors who still refuse to 'come out' so times still haven't changed for the better.
