Okay, well.
I did not like this at all.
Which is surprising because I really liked Benson&Moorhead's most of previous works.
Spring is actually one of my favourite movies of all time.
But this one I found infuriating.
[spoiler]It basically has no plot, just two guys slowly going crazy in an apartment because of some crystal I guess?
And while they are losing their shit they blurt out some of the most random bullshit I have ever heard in my life.
Like I think they went on Reddit, collected some of the craziest sounding theories on there and wrote them into this movie. [/spoiler]


Look, I'm perfectly aware that they did not write this movie while they were sober but maybe they should have just saved some of these ideas for future movies and worked on them for a bit longer instead of just jamming everything into this one.
Because this way it just feels like a convoluted clusterfuck that keeps spinning it's wheels until the very end. Which I wouldn't even call an ending because it just kinda happens, and it doesn't feel like it resolved anything.

But hey art is subjective and I'm sure that some people appreciated this a lot more than I did, and that's completely fine.
At least I can talk about some positives as well.

[spoiler] It was shot well, but that's not very surprising since Benson&Moorhead used to make advertisements for a living.
And I appreciate the callbacks to all their previous works, like the red powder, the birds flying in weird formations and the totem poles in the desert.[/spoiler]
In conclusion:
I will definitely watch whatever Benson&Moorhead come up with next because out of the five movies they have made I really liked three.
I just want to forget about this one asap.
