This film presents itself as an action thriller aiming to capture the essence of quinqui cinema, but it falls short of balancing style and narrative. Visually, it feels more like a music video than a film; the scenes unfold rapidly but lack the depth necessary to sustain the viewer's emotional engagement. Furthermore, the music is repetitive and uninspired, adding little to the experience and instead distracting from what should be the story’s core.
