Mixed feelings. Firstly I thought this movie relied way too much on sound. Every scene - and there's music, commonly at the forefront. The sounds would have more impact if they were just used at dramatic moments. I can see this movie wanted to be really creative with the sound, but the gamble only half worked for me as I got desensitised. As for the plot it's a little slow, but not too slow. It had potential to be a lot better in terms of entertainment plot and creativity, but thats just my own preference. There is quality here. It's not a bad movie. I feel a movie with this setup needed to be a pressure cooker that progressed in tension, and it did that but not always as I'd liked. It relied on a lot of flashbacks and basic jumps which felt bland. It even turns into a slasher without any reasoning other than 'they're here'. The story is a sci-fi abduction movie that felt more like an average haunting movie. It could have focused more on sci-fi . The small cast did a good job. A generous 6
