In 1868 during the late Qing Dynasty, rampant corruption on the Imperial Court inflicts much suffering in people's lives. This film really shows how far fight choreography has come. But to be honest, the plot was not up to the same standard. Definitely going to check out what else Eddie Peng has done. And of course, it has Sammo Hung, in a role that he was made for Enjoy

"Rise of the Legend" is an action and martial arts film that had a lot of promise but ended up being mediocre in its execution.
