I bet there's some great interviews "on the cutting room floor". Was great to revisit the story of the game, but it barely broke the surface. I'm really surprised Ralph didn't speak once, given he made the film and was the producer of the entire series of the game, I guess that's a testament to him as a director? But this documentary is basically "yeah we made a game, nobody thought it'd work and it was the highest selling sports franchise that spawned an entire genre of sports games". Hopefully we can see more of the interviews? I'd love to hear Mick, Ralph & Tony just shoot the shit over THPS.

For a film that traces the history of skateboarding in a concise way, features plenty of footage of incredible tricks, and leans into just how groundbreaking 'Tony Hawk's Pro Skater' was and how it changed the face of skateboarding, there's a lot more to tell rather than show.
