I have to admit, the makeup and prosthetics in this movie are mind-bogglingly good. The apes look incredibly realistic, and you can tell the filmmakers put a ton of effort into bringing these furry fellows to life. Hats off to the makeup team for turning actors like Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Roth into believable apes. As Leo tries to navigate this upside-down ape world, we encounter some seriously bonkers twists that'll make your head spin. I won't spoil it for you, but let's just say there's a rather interesting revelation towards the end that left me scratching my head and wondering if I accidentally stumbled into a parallel universe. However, despite the confusing storyline, I must admit that the action sequences are pretty darn entertaining. There are epic battles between apes and humans, high-speed chases, and some intense monkeying around.
