Peter and his gang are up to more mischief in _Peter Rabbit 2_. When Bea self-publishes a book about Peter and his adventures a publishing company takes an interest in her and attempts to sign her, meanwhile Peter meets a new friend in the city who recruits him to pull a heist at the Farmer’s Market. Most of the original cast returns and deliver solid, if not a bit cartoonish, performances. The animation is extraordinarily good and the soundtrack is well-done and is full of energy. But the plot’s a little weak, and some of jokes are rather hit and miss. While it’s not as good as the first one, _Peter Rabbit 2_ is entertaining and a lot of fun.

I hope 'Peter Rabbit 2' is successful; the fact it was one of those first three films pulled due to the pandemic and is now being released offers a small sense of normalcy for the film industry.
