_Operation Napoleon_ is visually a good movie and the acting is decent. But, the plot and its execution is appalling at times. Especially the first 30 minutes the movie goes through multiple phases where the story just jumps ahead and you can feel that - without having read it - entire chapters of the book are skipped. It's really hard for the viewer to build a connection to the characters because it's all so rushed and unexplained - and its not the "mysterious type of unexplained"... The second half of the movie is definately better but overall the plot is just not to my liking at this point. [spoiler]Two conspiracy theories (at best) are being mixed with one another and the way they exploited that felt really easy and "cheap". [/spoiler]
