Superb, and more emotional than I expected. Truly a depiction of the best and worst of humanity, combined with epic visuals and stunning cinematography. Riefenstahl is obsessed with the aestheticization of the human form, and the movie is filled with shot after shot of athletes doing their thing in a way that accentuates their god-like physiques and movements. It never gets old (except in Part 2, where the focus is on sport where technology tends to get in the way), and it was a beautiful thing to see. Some truly jaw-dropping shots throughout.
