Shen Tianyi was a water management expert, and a fellow disciple of Xin Yuanhang. They encounter a series of terrifying events involving "corpses walking against the tide" while dealing with the flooding problem of the Yellow River in Gumu Village. They unexpectedly saved their former partner, Yu Yin, during the process. Together, they embark on a journey to uncover the truth behind the mysterious events related to the Yellow River. Shen Tianyi and company analyzed layer by layer and gradually uncovered the mystery, finally finding a scientific solution to manage the water disaster, bringing eternal peace and harmony back to Gumu Village.
