Boy, I was excited like I was 13 again, when I received as a present a special double album and first saw S&M on DVD.
Than 'Ecstasy for Gold' started playing... Boom, back to 2010 Metallica getting up on the stage and I'm watching them live in TLV, my first BIG live concert. Goosebumps!
Then James started the arpeggios of 'Kthulu'.

I've never been in a movie where the audience applaud, whistle and high-fived total strangers every 5 minutes when there's just a screen and no _real_ live performance on stage.
People air-guitared and make drums out of their legs. We were really into the show, applauding every solo and humming every time James or Lars asked.
The sound was great and so were the vibes in the theater. Most veteran viewers were one 70'ish cute couple, and the youngest was maybe 6 y.o girl (with her older brother and parents. That's what I call good education).
James sang and played great, Lars was on point and really beating the hell of the kit
(and made a cool entrance to one legendary song)
. Kirk nailed it, and Rob... he didn't got enough screen time if you asked me
(and he got 'robbed' from Cliff's 'Anesthesia' bass masterpiece. But it payed off)
but every time we saw him he looked like he had the most fun it the venue.
==Thank you **Metallica** and San Francisco Symphonic Orchestra==, that was awesome :metal:

I dunno how it went on other cinemas, but apparently we, Metallica fans, were too polite to stand up throughout the show, and took real advantage of the benefits you get from a symphonic concert (no sweat, A.C, no arm pits in your face and no pushing)
