The best part of this special is the song toward the start. I know a lot of people seem to like this one but dear lord is it meandering. Scenes go on for what feels like endlessly with these super one-note characters, and while the animation is decently expressive for Rankin Bass standards, it's still hardly good. Cut this down to like a half hour and honestly, I think it'd have been twice as good, but as is it really drops off from sheer boredom after a bit. It took the random bouts of unbelievable horniness to wake me up here... Like seriously, good God, this movie is HORNY!

This is unlike anything I have seen before. It is incredible to think it was made 60 years ago Was it brilliant? No not really... Did it amaze m? Absolutely Should you watch it? Yes, I think you should P.S. Bonus points that Francesa is played by multi-talented kiwi born Gale Garnett, probably most famous for singing "We'll Sing in the Sunshine.", and significantly upstaging Phyllis Diller in this movie...
