This movie is like the Supreme Court of the United States: chauvinistic, offensive and resolutely anti-woman.

Spoiler alert but this film deserves it: It's the story of an unemployed man who does absolutely nothing at home except hang out with his degenerate friend, play with his Mustang and expect his wife take care of the cooking, cleaning and their children while she also holds down a full time job and is the sole bread-winner of the household.

So, she buys a robot to do the things her husband refuses to do. It cooks, cleans, teaches the children things like self defense & chess, does the yard work, helps with the shopping, guards the house, does repairs, and listens to her attentively when she's sad and needs to talk...

But of course the happy ending is when she eventually realizes it's selfish of her to enjoy this, so she accepts it when her husband gets rid of the only help she ever had and apologizes to him for not being more mindful of him and his needs.

Fuck that all the way to hell. Watch John Malkovich in Making Mr. Right (1988) for a better on every level version of this same plot.
