#mindfucked

Stop reading and go in blind for this one! What a fun fresh sci-fi psychological thriller it was like *Bodies Bodies Bodies* meets *Coherence*. Love the concept, it's been done countless times but I don't remember seeing it with so many characters.

The complex character dynamics is what drives this movie and I was playing the same game as the characters at guessing so it's very engaging. On top of that the cinematography is just as engaging, remarkable camerawork, nice editing, the house looks amazing with all the mirrors and colorful neon lighting. Loved Forbes' black and white story collage with super fast dialogue at the beginning and they did that again in the second half it's creative and funny.

Some characters were slightly underused and they focused a little too much on a relationship in the second half but overall I enjoyed the characters and performances. I'm obsessed with Alycia Debnam-Carey what a goddess, she was the standout and i'm waiting for her career to boom.

Once the concept is out of the bag I already knew where this movie would ultimately end up but I think the filmmakers knew it was obvious so they just went crazy with it in the third act so it would compensate for the predictability and... holy shit get your pen and paper out for the twists in the third act it was wild trying to understand everything.
