Like a dildo low on batteries, _In the Fade_ is frustrating and dissatisfying in the end, despite Diane Kruger's skill and persistence.

@saint-pauly How so? Love the analogy BTW, made me chuckle something chronic. What about it did you find dissatisfying? (I ask as it's been generally acclaimed) .. I've not watched it yet, but intend to soon.

@kelvinhanratty Thank you for your kind words! You're quite right that the film has largely positive reviews, and deservedly so. Please understand I see a different film **in the cinema** every day, and have done for going on 290 days in a row as of this writing, thus I am perhaps a tad jaded. To answer your question, though, I was disappointed in the ending, as I was hoping for something more cathartic.

@saint-pauly Thanks for that, was wondering what was disappointing. Diane always performs excellently, I've not seen a bad film/show with her starring, so far - usually elevated by her captivating performances. Will watch this soon, bearing in mind your criticism. You've seen some great shows/movies, some more to add to my queue. Thanks for your feedback.
