the film is a mixture of 300 with mythology, golden gods... and henry cavill... it serves to pass the time and if you like mythology it is at the same time a gift and an offense for the eyes

I discovered this movie on the Spanish-language channel UniMás while a game on another channel's at halftime. I don't remember seeing commercials for this around the time the film hit theaters & I can guess why (lucky for this film it made a profit). It's indistinguishable from "Clash of the Titans" or "300," which the channel's also aired. The actors I only recognized were Frieda Pinto, the guy from "Twilight" (Kellan Lutz), a guy who played Superman (Henry Cavill), Mickey Rourke, whose films are always on TV, & Stephen Dorff, always a character actor, never a celebrity. Since the SFX & audio & video are good, this film's decent enough to watch on TV for the sake of watching something on TV, but the story & cast ain't compelling enough for you to actively watch the film & do other things in the room like use your phone or sort laundry.
